Undergraduate Programme in Mechanical Engineering

Overview -

A Mechanical Engineering program typically covers the core principles of engineering like design, manufacturing, and thermal system design of mechanical systems. It includes areas like mechanics, thermodynamics, materials science, and design along with advanced topics like composite materials and Finite element analysis with a focus on problem-solving and practical application. The Department of Mechanical Engineering offers undergraduate program in Mechanical Engineering with the AICTE sanctioned intake of 60.

Learning Outcome -

  • To develop an ability to understand concepts of Mechanical Engineering and apply them to various areas like Machine design, Thermal engineering, Manufacturing science pertaining to broader areas of Automobile, Aerospace, Robotics, Power plants and Manufacturing sectors.
