Established in 2003, Academy of Technology is one of the most acclaimed self-financed engineering colleges in West Bengal. It has been established by Ananda Educational Development & Charitable Organisation (AEDCO), a trust known for its deep sense of social commitment and dedicated to the promotion of education by inculcating appropriate ethics and attitude.
In my early career days AOT taught me perseverance and always inspired me to push the boundaries of learning and innovation.

🎉 Academy of Technology Foundation Day 2025 🎉
On 22nd August 2025, Academy of Technology joyfully celebrated its Foundation Day, marking yet another milestone in its journey of excellence.
The celebration began with the reception of guests and the flag hoisting ceremony, followed by the inauguration of the Tribute Corner, ceremonial lamp lighting, and a vibrant cultural curtain-raiser featuring soulful song and dance performances by our talented students.
✨ The highlight of the day was the Foundation Day Lecture delivered by Prof. Prabuddha Ganguli (CEO, Vision-IPR) on the theme:

Department of Mechanical Engineering, Academy of Technology is proud to have successfully organized an AICTE-sponsored ATAL Faculty Development Program (FDP) on “Digital Transformation in Manufacturing: Enhancing Efficiency and Innovation” from 21st to 26th July 2025.
📍 The week-long offline FDP brought together around 50 participants across state, fostering a vibrant exchange of ideas, insights, and emerging trends in manufacturing and digital technologies.
💬 The event featured distinguished speakers from both industry and academia, who shared their valuable expertise on topics ranging from Industry 4.0, smart manufacturing, AI applications, to sustainable production practices.

It was a great privilege for Academy of Technology (AOT) to host Prof. (Dr.) AGOSTINO CORTESI from Università Ca’ Foscari Venezia, Italy, for an invited talk on “AI in Software Engineering: A New Era of Development” on 3rd July 2025.
