Scholarships & Fee Waivers

Swami Vivekananda Merit-cum-Means Scholarship Scheme – Offered by the Government of West Bengal for meritorious students from economically weaker sections.
West Bengal Freeship Scheme – Full or Half Tuition Fee Waiver for economically backward but meritorious students admitted to 4-year B.Tech programs.

Note: Waiver is renewable every semester based on academic performance.

Central Government Scholarships/Stipends – Various merit-based and need-based schemes available for eligible students.

Category-Based Financial Assistance

SC/ST/OBC Scholarships – From the Backward Classes Welfare Department, Government of West Bengal.
Aikyashree -West Bengal State Scholarships for Minority Students through the West Bengal Minority Development and Finance Corporation (WBMDFC).
Kanyashree Prakalpa [K2] – Financial support provided to girl students provided by the Government of West Bengal to help them pursue higher education
Railway Concessions – Available for all eligible students upon application.

Education Loans

Assistance in availing educational loans from nationalized banks.
Acceptance of the West Bengal Government’s Student Credit Card scheme to help finance educational expenses.
