About the Laboratory

The Robotics Laboratory at Academy of Technology is a dynamic interdisciplinary space where students learn the core principles of robotic automation through hands-on experimentation. From mechanical design to actuation and control systems, sensors with integrated IoT systems, the lab empower students to build prototype and test real-world robotic technologies.

6 DOF Robotic Arm equipped with Mechanical systems and Electronic motors

Activities

Beyond curriculum classes are conducted to teach the concepts of IOT and Robotic motor operation using Arduino Micro controller.

Success Stories:

Six students of third year Mechanical Engineering (Graduation Year 2026) were selected to participate in a 15-day technical workshop at the Centre of Excellence in Robotics, IIT Kharagpur. The students gained hands-on exposure to next-gen robotic systems, control architectures and automation research.
