A gifted speaker, Prof. Banerjee is known for her engaging interactions with students. She encourages them to take initiative, actively participate in college activities, and embrace leadership roles. Drawing from her own leadership experiences during her college days and as a mother, she relates to students on a personal level, offering guidance on balancing academics with personal life.

Successfully picking up the mantle left by her late husband, Prof. Banerjee has strengthened AOT’s foundation and propelled it forward with renewed vigour and vision. Her approachable nature and open-door policy foster a culture of collaboration, respect and trust within the institution. Her remarkable ability to juggle her professional responsibilities with family life—being a proud mother of two young daughters—reflects her exemplary acumen and calm, as she works tirelessly to ensure AOT’s continued growth and success.

Welcome to Academy of Technology, where we are committed to creating an environment that nurtures the dreams and aspirations of our students while empowering them to become innovators, leaders, and responsible global citizens. At AOT, we believe that education is not just about academic achievement but about holistic development—empowering each student to realize their full potential.

As Chairman Trustee, my role is to build on the strong foundation laid by my late husband and our founder, Prof. Jagannath Banerjee. I am deeply committed to continuing his vision, ensuring that AOT remains a dynamic institution with ample avenues for growth, innovation, and collaboration. I am dedicated to fostering a culture that values every student and ensures that they have access to the resources, opportunities, and mentorship they need to succeed in an ever-evolving world.

I have always believed in the importance of leading with empathy and compassion. My leadership style is participative, and I am always eager to engage with our students and faculty, as well as teaching and non-teaching staff. I encourage our students to take the initiative and get involved in shaping the future of our college. Every idea, no matter how small, can lead to something impactful when we work together.

As a mother of two young daughters, I relate strongly to the challenges and aspirations of students, and I strive to be someone you can approach for guidance, support, and encouragement. You will always find me ready to listen and offer guidance. I am proud to be part of this institution and will continue to work tirelessly to ensure the continued excellence of AOT. My goal is to ensure that every AOTian feels supported, valued, and empowered to realize their potential.
