Initiatives

Today the academic excellence alone is not sufficient, though essential, to succeed in ones professional career. Academy therefore extends all possible support to its students to acquire confidence, leadership skill, communication skill etc through comprehensive training program "TRAINING FOR IMPROVEMENT OF PLACEMENT SKILLS (TIPS)" since 2004.
Management experts, career counsellors and other professionals are invited in regular intervals to lend their valuable advice to the students to choose the right track, best suited for each individual, and also to make them aware about the requirement of industries. Simultaneously, earnest attempts are also made to eradicate the weakness of the individual student through counselling, and to make them competitive in the hostile global job market.
Again the present looming global financial turmoil has exacerbated a global downturn and the crisis of this magnitude is bound to affect our economy adversely as it already has. The resultant effect has also adversely affected the campus placement activities of different colleges across India even in IIM and IITs.
Looking into the tough employment scenario for fresh engineers AOT has already taken initiation to provide all possible support to train all existing student not only for Improvement of Placement Skills but also for alternative career options e.g GATE, CAT, MAT etc. according to their preference at our campus by renowned organization (training partner) having requisite experience in their field and Academy of Technology is providing maximum possible subsidy towards the cost of training.
It is mandatory for every student to participate in any one Career Development Training programme.
